This BD Rep will work on our client’s Wholesale Deals program – a customized B2B marketplace to connect sellers to qualified wholesalers and inventory – currently run by the Business Incubation Group

Supports business development and marketing of the organization’s products by maintaining records and promoting products to brokers, third party administrators, self-funded employers, and customers and partners. A bachelor’s degree is typically required for this position with two years of business development or marketing experience.

Produces monthly management reports and supports client service and marketing activities. Supports business development activities by assisting with the contracting and marketing of such activities to existing and potential clients. Assists management in the development of business plans, marketing strategies, sales calls, and general marketing of the business development activities of the organization. Conducts ongoing research of new product lines, making recommendations to the appropriate individuals.

Facilitates efforts to develop, implement, and refine standard procedures for researching, collecting, and tracking information about clients including contact data, pipelines, and previous outsourcing experiences.

Customer Service Experience required. Bachelors degree required. Sales Experience a plus.

Q. What will this role work on?
A. The Wholesale Deals program – a customized B2B marketplace to connect qualified wholesalers of inventory to top sellers who buy and resell this inventory on our site. The project is currently run by the Business Incubation Group, an entrepreneurial group that builds new businesses for our company.

1. Account Management / Customer Service
2. Business Development i.e. ability to communicating the project’s value to customers and thereby close deals

Q. What would the typical work day look like for this contractor (what are they responsible for)?
A. Reading customer emails and resolving arising issues accordingly, cold calling prospects, managing assigned wholesaler accounts to get new listings of good inventory, sending the spreadsheet of all listings to our offshore team for analysis. Thrice weekly we meet for an hour to brainstorm on product ideas, and we expect all team members to contribute.
