Our client is a fun Digital Marketing & eCommerce agency with big name clients including eBay, Dell, American Airlines, CVS/pharmacy, PayPal, and Toys ‘R’ Us, just to name a few!

This agency is looking for a temp-to-perm EMAIL CAMPAIGN ASSOCIATE. This smart, team-playing, client-facing, go-getter will be responsible for the quality and delivery of client campaigns, including: campaign management, tactical recommendations, list segmentation, campaign development, quality assurance, and post-campaign reporting, calling on specialist roles when necessary (e.g. Creative Designers, Project Developers and Database Programmers). You’ll also be responsible for responding to customer questions and to research, resolve, and solve basic account inquiries related to the customers email program.

What You’ll Do:
• Act as the client’s primary point of contact for campaigns. Professionally manage the client relationship on a production operations level
• Actively seek to foster the client relationship through effective communication and expectation setting
• Manage campaign calendar and both internal and external communications of time, scope, and cost
• Gather campaign assets and requirements from client, and manage campaign production through deployment
• Facilitate the creative production process (concept design and HTML building), as required
• Troubleshoot HTML and revise code where necessary to integrate with internal tools and render properly across multiple email clients, browsers, and mobile devices
• Utilize basic programming and database knowledge to create highly customizable campaigns
• Perform audience creation, data management, and data troubleshooting
• Strive for 100% quality execution with regard to pre-mail and post-mail campaigns through quality assurance and testing
• Monitor campaign performance tracking and reporting
• Train clients on campaign process, proprietary tools, and custom applications
• Manage and maintain campaign documentation
• Perform automated campaign monitoring and issue resolution management

What You’ll Need:
• Undergraduate degree in relevant field
• 2-years related full-time experience, preferably within a digital agency or client services environment
• A strong understanding of customer service standards
• Team player with the ability to work cross-functionally (client services and technical services) in driving client success
• Experience with or highly trainable in proprietary software and database functions
• Self-starter who requires minimum supervision and can be fully responsible for all campaign production aspects of projects
• High attention to detail with the ability to produce flawless work in rapid succession
• Ability to prioritize work independently and demonstrate a willingness to be flexible and versatile in the production role, proactively addressing changes in client demands
• Basic knowledge of HTML and demonstrated ability to edit HTML
• Clear, effective communication skills when speaking to a technical or non-technical audience
• Follow through on commitments; meeting and exceeding targets and deadlines
• Familiarity with project management methodologies; understanding of scope, requirement gathering, dependencies, and scheduling work
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe suite

The Email Marketing & Web Development specialist will be responsible for the successful execution of North America Relationship Marketing email campaigns and landing pages for our client (a well-known, household name eCommerce company).

What You’ll Do:
As the Email Marketing & Web Development specialist you will execute (prepare, test, stage, send, report) North America Relationship Marketing email campaigns and landing pages. This position requires the ideal candidate to work closely with creative, targeting, and strategy teams from concept to actual delivery. This will require the individual to leverage content & concepts and build customized email communications by gaining expertise in the email marketing tools and pre-defined segments of the user base. In addition, create and rollout landing page experiences to the flagship web site. You will:

– Work independently, assembling marketing email campaigns & landing pages.
– Code the emails and landing pages in HTML/CSS/JS, ensuring cross-compatibility with various email clients, web browsers & operating systems.
– Analyze provided HTML assets and revise code where necessary to integrate with deployment tools and render properly across multiple platforms.
– Troubleshoot HTML & CSS rendering issues and make suggestions for coding improvements to ensure accurate rendering across a wide range of popular e-mail clients (Outlook, Hotmail, Yahoo!, etc.) & browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox).
– Complete and Test/QA campaign setups, content and change rounds in rapid succession with minimal errors.
– Functional programming and database knowledge to create highly customizable and targeted campaigns utilizing conditional logic & dynamic content.

What You’ll Need:
– 1-3 years of web development or email marketing experience, preferably in the Internet or Retail landscape or equivalent. Knowledge of email best practices.
– Must have strong skills and knowledge of HTML & CSS and demonstrates ability to hand-code utilizing traditional nested tables, as well as CSS styling without relying on the use of a visual editor.
– Experience with and grasp of JavaScript & JQuery.
– Familiarity with responsive design for mobile clients.
– Familiarity with source control systems & practices (ClearCase, Git).
– Extremely detail oriented, striving for 100% quality execution, in rapid succession.
– Follow through on commitments; meeting and exceeding targets & deadlines.
– Demonstrates a willingness to be flexible and versatile in their production role.
– Experience with web production software (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, etc.).
– Demonstrated ability to think creatively and innovatively.
– Strong written and verbal communication skills.
